Southern California Trainer, Phil D’Amato has quickly established himself as a top-10 conditioner. Big John B’s Aug. 23 Del Mar victory was one of five graded victories D’Amato has earned in the past five months as a head trainer. In his first Breeder’s Cup, D’Amato also plans to run Obviously who gave D’Amato his first Grade I triumph in the Shoemaker Mile at Santa Anita.
