Moved this past summer to trainer Philip D’Amato’s barn, Midnight Storm won the August 10th allowance race when D’Amato decided to try the horse on grass. Back on turf again, Midnight Storm led the Grade 2 race from start to finish in the $300,000 Del Mar Derby.
